As of April 10, 2012; US Aircraft Carrier George H.W.Bush (CVN-77) which is a part of US 7th Fleet on Indian Ocean, ended its 6000 mile travel and anchored on Mediterranian 100 miles off the southern shores of Cyprus.
US State Department confirmed the new position and announced that CVN-77 will preserve its location and will be observing Syria.
This new location of CVN-77 takes international attention, since Russian War Ships and Russian Marine/Special Forces troops were sighted unboarding at Latakiya, the most vital port-city of Syria, in the past weeks.
